The recent ABC series ‘War on Waste’ (see Nutrimatters May 2017) seems to have made an impact on viewers with many realising that most take-away coffee cups are not recyclable. Disadvantages:
* glass cups can be stacked, although not as well as the plastic version
* cork bands are not dishwasher safe
Great for tea and coffee made at home to have on-the-go as well as tea and coffee bought throughout the day or at sporting events or on road trips. There is also potential for them to be used for soups on to go!
